Managing our time when we live with the unpredictability of family caregiving is no mean feat. It also doesn’t help that we now live in an age where everything needs to be done at light speed and we are always required to be “switched on”. It creates even more confusion even if we aren’t aware of it.

To organize your day more effectively, try the following:

If it needs to be done in the next fifteen minutes or so, task-switch. Otherwise, focus on one part until it’s done, then move on to the next.

If you can, run it in the background while you do other things… like the washing machine for example

Accomplish tasks that are physically near each other at the same time
